CONFLICTMASTERY™
Interpersonal conflict is so often fraught with stress, mixed emotions and confusion. How to effectively manage ourselves, the situation and the interaction are all challenges at these times. In the midst of a disagreement or anticipating one, many of us lose our perspective and become entrenched in what we perceive as the wisdom of our position (and of course, the folly of “the other person’s”). However, conflict actually provides significant potential for, among other things, learning about ourselves and others and for reconciling and accepting differences.
This is what ConflictMastery™ is about. That is, ConflictMastery™ is about YOU and your conflict competence. It is about discovering your choices about how to more effectively engage in interpersonal conflicts, prevent unnecessary disputes and shift behaviours that do not work for you. It is also about helping you as a professional, to enhance your knowledge, skills and abilities to more effectively:
- coach others about their interpersonal conflicts;
- mediate and facilitate interpersonal conflict between and among others; and
- be a model of a conflict competent leader.
