A little about the Founder of ConflictMastery™ - Cinnie Noble

Both as a former social worker, lawyer and certified mediator (C.Med – ADR Institute of Ontario, and Member of the Academy of Advanced Practitioners of the Association for Conflict Resolution) Cinnie has practised and studied conflict management for over 20 years. She has undergraduate degrees in law and social work and a Masters in Law in Alternate Dispute Resolution. Cinnie is a graduate of CoachU and a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation.

Cinnie NobleCinnie is President of Noble Solutions Inc., a company that provides a wide range of conflict management services, including mediation, facilitation, training and consultation on organizational conflict. Cinnie has developed and taught courses on Workplace Dispute Resolution and Conflict Management Coaching at the School of Continuing Studies, University of Toronto, from where she received an Excellence in Teaching Award in 2000.

CINERGY® Coaching, a division of Noble Solutions Inc. too, provides coaching to leaders and others who want to strengthen their conflict intelligence and improve their ability and skills to manage conflict. CINERGY Coaching also provides Introductory and Advanced Conflict Management Coaching Workshops that train coaches, mediators and others to coach people who strive to gain proficiency and increased ability to engage in their disputes. The workshops have been accredited by the International Coach Federation.

Cinnie has served on the Board of the International Coach Federation – Greater Toronto Area and co-hosts the Conflict Management Coaching Community of Practice for the global International Coach Federation. She is Chair of the Conflict Coaching Practice Area for the Association for Conflict Resolution, and serves on the Advisory Board of the Center for Conflict Dynamics and the ADR Institute of Ontario.

Cinnie is the author of five books prior to Conflict Mastery™: Questions To Guide You. In 2011 she published Conflict Management Coaching: The CINERGY™ Model (2011), and prior to that Cinnie co-authored with Ed Modell and Diane Brennan the chapter entitled “Conflict Management” in Wildflower, L. and Brennan, D. The Handbook of Knowledge-Based Coaching (Jossey-Bass, 2011). Two previous books (Mediation Advocacy: Effective Client Representation in Mediation Proceedings, Emond Montgomery, 1998 and Family Mediation: A Guide for Lawyers, Canada Law Book, May, 1999) and numerous articles, are on topics relating to the conflict management field.

Cinnie was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada in 1990 for her pioneering work in the travel industry on behalf of people with disabilities, and received the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal in 2002 and the Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012.
